1. Purpose of RoomMet

RoomMet is a platform made only for finding rooms and roommates. RoomMet does not provide property services, brokerage, mediation, or verification.

RoomMet is ONLY a connecting platform.

2. Eligibility

• You must be 18 years or older
• You must provide accurate information
• You must use RoomMet legally and respectfully

3. Your Responsibilities

• Verify other users and verify property details yourself
• Ensure your own safety during interactions or meetings
• Make payments (if any) at your own risk
• Behave respectfully and legally

4. No Verification - No Liability

RoomMet does NOT verify:

• User identity, background, or criminal history
• Room or property details
• Listing accuracy or ownership
• User behavior or intentions

RoomMet is NOT responsible for fraud, payment disputes, harassment, threats, misuse, illegal activities, property issues, or any offline meetings.

5. No Fees, No Money Collection

RoomMet does NOT charge any fees, deposits, or service charges.

If anyone asks for money on behalf of RoomMet, it is a scam. RoomMet is NOT responsible for any financial loss.

6. Future Premium Subscriptions

If RoomMet introduces premium or paid features in the future, all payments will be accepted ONLY through official in-app purchase systems (Google Play Billing etc.).

RoomMet will NEVER collect money through cash, UPI, bank transfer, or offline methods.

7. Misuse, Harassment and Illegal Activity

RoomMet must not be used for harassment, threats, abuse, or illegal activities.

RoomMet is NOT responsible for the behavior, actions, or illegal activities of users.

If any crime or legal issue occurs, RoomMet may assist law enforcement if required, but RoomMet is NOT liable for the situation.

8. User Content

• You are responsible for all content you upload
• Content must be truthful and legal
• Fake, misleading, or harmful listings are not allowed

9. Prohibited Activities

• Fake profiles or listings
• Fraud or impersonation
• Harassment or abuse
• Illegal or harmful content
• Hacking or misuse

10. Limitation of Liability

Users interact at their own risk. RoomMet is NOT liable for loss, injury, disputes, damage, fraud, emotional harm, or financial loss arising from user interactions.

11. Account Termination

RoomMet may suspend or delete accounts violating rules or showing suspicious activity.

12. Governing Law

These terms are governed by Indian Law. Disputes will be handled in Indian courts only.

13. Changes to Terms

RoomMet may modify these terms anytime. Continued use means acceptance of updated terms.
