Terms of Service, Refund Policy & Disclaimer

⚠ Mandatory Legal Notice — Read Before Proceeding

This is a legally binding contract. By accessing, browsing, registering, or using the RoomMet platform in any manner — including viewing listings, contacting owners, or making any payment — you are deemed to have read, fully understood, and unconditionally accepted every term and condition in this document without exception.

If you do not agree, your sole remedy is to immediately stop using the platform. Continued use constitutes irrevocable acceptance.


⚠ Critical — Read First

RoomMet Does NOT Guarantee Any Room or Accommodation — Ever.

RoomMet is strictly and only an information display platform. RoomMet does NOT promise, guarantee, assure, commit, or represent that any User will find, obtain, secure, or be allotted any room, property, or accommodation.

RoomMet only shows information that Owners have chosen to submit. RoomMet cannot and does not guarantee that any such information is accurate, current, or that any room displayed is actually available or real.

Paying for the Premium Plan is paying for access to information only — NOT for a room, NOT for a guaranteed result, and NOT for any assurance of any kind.

If you are using RoomMet expecting a guaranteed room or accommodation — stop immediately. That is NOT what RoomMet is, does, or promises.


Part A — Definitions

"Sync Solutions" — Parent company and legal owner of RoomMet, including its proprietors, directors, officers, employees, contractors, agents, successors, and assigns.

"RoomMet / Platform / Company / We / Us / Our" — RoomMet, a product operated by Sync Solutions. Any reference to RoomMet includes Sync Solutions and vice versa. Both enjoy equal protection under every provision of these Terms.

"User / You / Your" — Any person or entity that accesses, browses, registers on, or uses the Platform in any capacity.

"Owner" — Any landlord, property owner, tenant, sub-lessor, broker, or any third party who lists or submits property-related information on the Platform.

"Listing" — Any property information, description, photograph, or data submitted by an Owner and displayed on the Platform exactly as provided, without any modification, verification, or endorsement by RoomMet or Sync Solutions.

"Owner-Provided Information" — All content, data, descriptions, images, contact details, pricing, and any other information submitted by an Owner which RoomMet displays solely as relayed by the Owner.

"Premium Plan" — The paid subscription at INR 499/month for enhanced access to Listings. A payment for information access only — not for any room, result, or guarantee.

"Information Sharing Services" — The sole service provided by RoomMet: passive display of Owner-Provided Information to Users, without any verification, guarantee, or endorsement.

"Loss" — Any and all direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, special, punitive, exemplary, financial, economic, or other loss or damage of any nature.


Part B — Nature & Scope of Platform

1. RoomMet is a Pure Information Display Platform — Nothing More

RoomMet, operated by Sync Solutions, is and at all times remains purely and exclusively a passive information display platform. Its one and only function is to receive information submitted by Owners and display that information to Users exactly as provided.

RoomMet does NOT create, generate, verify, authenticate, validate, endorse, certify, confirm, or in any way vouch for any information displayed on the Platform. Every piece of information originates entirely from Owners. RoomMet merely shows what Owners tell it. Nothing more.

Neither RoomMet nor Sync Solutions has at any time acted as: a real estate agent or broker; property manager; landlord or lessor; tenant placement service; accommodation provider; legal or financial advisor; investigator; verifier; or guarantor of any transaction, information, or arrangement.

2. Absolute No-Guarantee of Room or Accommodation

RoomMet makes no guarantee, promise, representation, or commitment of any kind that any User will:

  • Find any room or accommodation through the Platform
  • Be able to contact or receive a response from any Owner
  • Be accepted by any Owner for any property
  • Find any room that matches their requirements, budget, or preference
  • Find any room that is genuinely available at the time of viewing a Listing
  • Find any room whose details are accurate, truthful, or current
  • Achieve any result or benefit beyond viewing Owner-Provided Information on the Platform

The Premium Plan is a payment for the right to view more Owner-Provided Information on the Platform. It is NOT, under any circumstances, a payment for a room, a guaranteed lead, a confirmed property, or any assured outcome of any kind.

3. Owner-Provided Information — Complete Disclaimer

Every Listing, description, photograph, price, location detail, contact number, amenity description, availability status, and any other piece of information displayed on the Platform is submitted entirely and solely by Owners.

RoomMet does NOT verify, check, investigate, authenticate, or confirm any Owner-Provided Information in any manner. RoomMet has no knowledge of and makes no representation about the truth, accuracy, completeness, legality, or reliability of any information displayed.

Users expressly acknowledge that all information they see on RoomMet is what the Owner has chosen to tell the Platform. RoomMet is simply the messenger and display board. RoomMet has no ability to confirm whether any information is true, accurate, current, or that any room is actually available.

Owners are solely and exclusively responsible for the accuracy, legality, and completeness of all information they submit. RoomMet and Sync Solutions bear zero responsibility for the content of any Listing.


Part C — Premium Plan & Strict No-Refund Policy

4. Premium Plan — What It Is and What It Is NOT

RoomMet offers a Premium Plan at INR 499 (Rupees Four Hundred and Ninety-Nine Only) for one (1) calendar month from the date of successful payment.

The Premium Plan is exclusively and only a subscription for enhanced access to Owner-Provided Information. By purchasing the Premium Plan, the User is paying for information access only.

The Premium Plan expressly does NOT guarantee or promise:

  • That the User will find a room or accommodation
  • That any room displayed is genuinely available
  • That any Owner-Provided Information is accurate or truthful
  • That any Owner will respond to or engage with the User
  • That the User will successfully secure any tenancy or accommodation
  • Any specific number of listings, leads, or responses
  • Any result, outcome, benefit, or return beyond information access

5. Absolute and Unconditional No-Refund Policy

ALL PAYMENTS MADE TO ROOMMET AND/OR SYNC SOLUTIONS ARE FINAL, ABSOLUTE, AND STRICTLY NON-REFUNDABLE UNDER ANY AND ALL CIRCUMSTANCES WHATSOEVER, WITHOUT EXCEPTION OF ANY KIND.

ONCE A PAYMENT IS SUCCESSFULLY PROCESSED, NEITHER ROOMMET NOR SYNC SOLUTIONS SHALL ISSUE ANY REFUND, PARTIAL REFUND, CREDIT NOTE, ACCOUNT CREDIT, REVERSAL, CHARGEBACK CONCESSION, EXCHANGE, OR COMPENSATION OF ANY KIND.

THE USER ACKNOWLEDGES THEY ARE PAYING FOR INFORMATION ACCESS ONLY — NOT FOR ANY GUARANTEED ROOM, RESULT, OR OUTCOME — AND THEREFORE HAS NO BASIS TO CLAIM A REFUND IF NO ROOM IS FOUND.

The no-refund policy applies without exception in all situations, including:

  • The User did not find a room — this is not a ground for refund as RoomMet never guaranteed any room
  • The User is dissatisfied with the quality, accuracy, or number of Listings
  • The User did not use or underutilized the Premium Plan
  • The User secured accommodation through other means
  • Any Listing was found to be unavailable, inaccurate, or removed — RoomMet never verified or guaranteed any Listing
  • The User experienced any dispute, fraud, or loss with any Owner or Third Party
  • Technical difficulties, downtime, or inaccessibility of the Platform
  • The payment was made accidentally, erroneously, or in duplicate
  • The User's personal circumstances changed for any reason
  • The User claims not to have read these Terms at the time of payment
  • Any force majeure event or circumstance beyond RoomMet's control
  • Any other reason, whether foreseeable or unforeseeable

Any User who initiates a chargeback or payment dispute in breach of this Policy may have their account permanently suspended, be blacklisted from the Platform, and face legal action for breach of contract.


Part D — Comprehensive Disclaimer of Liability

6. Platform Provided "As Is" and "As Available"

The Platform and all Information Sharing Services are provided strictly on an "as is", "as available", and "with all faults" basis. Neither RoomMet nor Sync Solutions makes any representation, warranty, or guarantee of any kind regarding the Platform or any Owner-Provided Information.

7. Total Exclusion of Liability of RoomMet and Sync Solutions

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, RoomMet, Sync Solutions, their respective owners, directors, officers, employees, contractors, agents, and all affiliated persons shall have absolutely no liability whatsoever to any User for any Loss arising out of or related to:

  • The use of, reliance on, or inability to use the Platform or any Listing
  • Any inaccuracy, falsity, or misleading nature of any Owner-Provided Information
  • The User's failure to find any room or accommodation through the Platform
  • Any financial loss, loss of deposit, advance payment, rent paid, or any sum paid to any Owner or Third Party
  • Any fraud, misrepresentation, deceit, or unlawful act by any Owner or Third Party
  • Any personal injury, bodily harm, death, harassment, or safety-related incident from any property found on the Platform
  • Any loss of personal data, documents, identification, money, or belongings
  • Any dispute between a User and an Owner or Third Party
  • Any breach of any rental or licence agreement between a User and an Owner
  • Any indirect, incidental, consequential, punitive, or exemplary loss or damage
  • The User's disappointed expectation of finding a room — RoomMet never guaranteed any room or accommodation to any User

In all cases, the total aggregate liability of RoomMet and Sync Solutions, jointly and severally, shall in no event exceed INR 499 (Rupees Four Hundred and Ninety-Nine Only).

8. User's Sole Responsibility for Due Diligence

RoomMet does NOT verify, check, or confirm any Owner-Provided Information. Users are solely responsible for conducting all necessary independent verification, legal checks, background checks, and physical inspections before entering into any agreement or paying any money to any Owner.

Reliance on any Owner-Provided Information without independent verification is entirely at the User's own risk. Neither RoomMet nor Sync Solutions bears any responsibility for any loss arising from such reliance.

9. No Liability for Third-Party Actions

Neither RoomMet nor Sync Solutions has any control over or accepts any responsibility for the actions, conduct, or omissions of any Owner or Third Party. All interactions between Users and Owners are entirely independent of RoomMet and Sync Solutions and are at the User's own risk.


Part E — User Obligations

10. User Representations and Warranties

By using the Platform, each User represents and warrants that they are at least 18 years of age; all information provided is accurate and truthful; they will use the Platform solely for lawful purposes; and they understand and accept that RoomMet does not guarantee any room or accommodation.

11. Prohibited Conduct

Users are strictly prohibited from submitting false or fraudulent information; impersonating any person or entity; harassing or threatening any Owner or User; scraping or reproducing any content without prior written consent of Sync Solutions; and circumventing any security feature of the Platform.


Part F — General Legal Provisions

12. Indemnification

You agree to fully indemnify, defend, and hold harmless RoomMet, Sync Solutions, and their respective directors, officers, and employees from and against any and all claims, liabilities, losses, damages, costs, and legal fees arising out of or relating to your use of the Platform, breach of these Terms, interactions with any Owner or Third Party, or violation of any applicable law.

13. Intellectual Property

All content, design, software, trademarks, trade names, logos, and intellectual property on the Platform are the exclusive property of Sync Solutions. The names "RoomMet" and "Sync Solutions" and all associated branding may not be used without prior written authorisation.

14. Privacy

By using the Platform, Users consent to the collection, storage, and processing of their personal data by RoomMet and Sync Solutions in accordance with RoomMet's Privacy Policy and applicable Indian data protection laws.

15. Termination

RoomMet and Sync Solutions may suspend or permanently terminate any User's access at any time, without notice and without liability. No refund shall be payable upon termination under any circumstances.

16. Force Majeure

Neither RoomMet nor Sync Solutions shall be liable for any failure or interruption arising from any cause beyond their reasonable control, including acts of God, natural disasters, pandemics, war, government action, or internet outages.

17. Governing Law & Jurisdiction

These Terms shall be governed exclusively by the laws of the Republic of India. All disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent civil courts of India. Users waive any right to participate in any class action or representative proceeding against RoomMet or Sync Solutions.

18. Mandatory Pre-Litigation Notice

Before initiating any legal action, a User must provide thirty (30) days written notice to Sync Solutions detailing the nature of the dispute. Failure to do so shall render any proceeding premature and inadmissible.

19. Amendments

Sync Solutions reserves the right to modify these Terms at any time without prior notice. Continued use of the Platform constitutes irrevocable acceptance of the revised Terms.

20. Relationship Between RoomMet and Sync Solutions

RoomMet is a product operated by and under the full ownership of Sync Solutions. All legal protections, disclaimers, and liability exclusions in these Terms apply equally and fully to Sync Solutions. The parent-subsidiary relationship does not expand or create any additional liability for Sync Solutions beyond what is expressly stated herein.

21. Entire Agreement

These Terms constitute the entire agreement between the User and RoomMet / Sync Solutions and supersede all prior communications, representations, or agreements, whether oral or written.


✅ Acknowledgement of Agreement

By using the RoomMet Platform or purchasing the Premium Plan, you irrevocably confirm that:

  1. You have read and understood these Terms in full.
  2. You agree unconditionally to be bound by every provision herein.
  3. You accept the absolute No-Refund Policy without reservation.
  4. You understand that RoomMet only displays Owner-Provided Information and does not verify any of it.
  5. You understand and accept that RoomMet does NOT guarantee any room, property, or accommodation to any User under any circumstances.
  6. You acknowledge that paying for the Premium Plan is paying for information access only — not for a room or any guaranteed outcome.
  7. You acknowledge that neither RoomMet nor Sync Solutions bears any liability for any loss you may suffer.
  8. You will conduct your own independent due diligence before acting on any information from the Platform.
  9. You understand that Sync Solutions is the parent company of RoomMet and enjoys equal legal protection under these Terms.
⚖ Legal Advisory

To maximise enforceability: (1) Display a mandatory "I understand RoomMet does not guarantee any room and I am paying for information access only — I Agree" checkbox before every payment. (2) Have an enrolled Indian advocate review and certify this document. (3) Register "RoomMet" and "Sync Solutions" as trademarks. (4) Maintain timestamped records of User acceptance — your strongest legal shield under the Consumer Protection Act, 2019 and Indian Contract Act, 1872.
