Money and duration
Record the monthly rent, security deposit, payment date, tenure, lock-in period, escalation, notice period and deposit-refund timeline. Note maintenance, electricity, water, gas, Wi-Fi, parking and society charges separately.
People and property
Verify the identity of everyone signing and confirm that the person offering the property is authorised to rent or sublet it. The agreement should identify the exact property, room, fixtures, furniture and keys handed over.
House rules and exit
